This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I am a freelance graphic designer / photographer. I create for love of it when the mood takes me and if people are occasionally generous enough to think that my work and ability has value, well that's nice too.
My new-look website is under construction as I get to grips with iWeb, easily the most accessible web development software I've ever used. My portfolio is a lot bigger than it used to be though so there's an awful lot of sorting to do. In other news, my 13 month-old and often photographed youngling can count to ten... I genuinely didn't see that coming. She's also taken an interest in my camera which, as you might imagine, makes photographing her that bit more difficult and yes, I've already had o clean my lens at least once.
Although I'm enjoying building my new website, it hasn't grabbed me in the way all of the still image disciplines did and a lot of the work feels like the admin side of design. Still, it's good practice and I've already got an interested party or two watching how it comes out so I'll get some good feedback on how it compares to their expectations. What I'm most looking forward to though, is expanding my twitter practice to a design blog entitled 'meet bee'. It uses Byard Creative's mascot (Bee Creative) as a front.
If you're interested, the website is www.byardcreative.com
and the blog will be in the section titled 'Meet Bee'.
